FX Carbon fiber sleeves for FX Panthera .22 700 mm - Anybody makes them ? where to buy ? measurable accuracy Improvements?

FX Panthera .22 70 mm Carbon fiber sleeve

Please does anybody use them? If yes, are you getting accuracy improvement with them ? We shoot mostly 75. 100, 150 and 200 yards and looking for accuracy improvement at those distances. Shooting almost exclusively the Altaros 40 gr

Also where is the best place to buy them ? they show these on the UA site but they do not list the FX Panthera as compatible .. they only list those rifles as compatible Category: FX Accessories, FX Barrel Kits & Liners, FX Impact Accessories , FX Maverick Accessories, FX Wildcat Accessories, FX Parts

Tnx

I hope I understand your question. I have a relatively new .22 Panthera with a 700 cm barrel. It came with a factory installed carbon fibre sleeve. Hopefully, sometime tomorrow morning, I can compare the factory Panthera sleeve with the one I purchased for a 700 cm Impact. I think that the two sleeves are identical but I'll measure to make sure.

Agreed.... UA said the Pantheras do not come with carbon fiber sleeves.. Yet a couple friends mentioned they had the carbon sleeves in theirs ... maybe they bought them as an optional adder?

I just ordered the carbon fiber sleeve from UA ... I feel it may provide more repeatability & keep my liner more stable than two o-rings that slide randomly on the sleeve

Ummmm. I wonder how come mine did not come with a sleeve and it had only two rubber o-rings all jacked up the end of the barrel liner ... Not sure what kind of stability this provided to the liner and may be the reason why my Panthera is not as accurate as my two friends. Also I question the QA process at FX
Maybe it was an early production unit? My impact came with orings too.

A few comments:

This is late but I did verify that the carbon fiber sleeve shipped with my Panthera .22 700 is exactly the same as the one I purchased for my Impact.

Check this FX site. https://fxairguns.com/rifles/the-panthera/
Scroll down to "Barrel" specs. 600 cm and 700 cm Pantheras ship with carbon fibre sleeves.

I bought my Panthera new from UA. It arrived with a carbon fibre sleeve installed. There was no special order involved.

As to quality control, the shroud on my new rifle was heavily contaminated with carbon fiber dust and shavings mixed with what appears to be silicon oil. It was a real mess that took substantial time and effort to clean out. The carbon fiber sleeve was out of spec. The diameter was .003" thicker in the middle than at the ends. Removal was difficult. All-in-all, I was not impressed.
