Which is better carbon or fiber glass?

It depends upon what you are doing with it. They have different properties.

CF costs between $5.00 and $20.00 per pound. Fiberglass costs between $1.50 and $3.00 per pound.
CF is stronger, lighter and stiffer. Fiberglass fails gradually. CF fails catastrophically. That is glass cracks and then breaks. CF tends to shatter. CF is conductive and fiberglass is not. CF is nearly opaque to RF whereas fiberglass is nearly transparent.

So basically there is no "better" without a "for what" clause ...
