I've been after one of these Career 3 707 carbine 25 cal's for a while now and I finally found one on the classifieds last week. This one was apparently tuned by Will Piatt, the Ernest Rowe of Korean air guns. It weighs a little over 6lb and it is almost the same length as an FX Wildcat 25 and just 2" longer than a Cricket. If I wanted, I could shoot it with one hand like The Terminator.

Looking at it next to a Cricket 25, you can tell that these little carbines make a good alternative for people who don't like bullpups. I do like bullpups but I'm a sucker for under-lever rifles and I particularly love short guns that are balanced for off-hand shooting. I'm going to have fun using it with open sights at the range

I have a 25 Career 2 707 rifle which is even more powerful but, it's a bit of a handful when used with an LDC unless you are planing on entering the pole vaulting competition at the Olympics. Plus, with the Career 3 707, they finally got rid of that hunting scene on the receiver cover which made me feel embarrassed to take it out in public. I'm thinking of adding a reg and getting a LW or ST barrel machined for it, then giving it more of a tactical look with CF furniture and shroud or.... I might just sell it once the novelty is gone. For today though, I'm John Wayne and my garden is the old West!

"MI_Yeti"Very nice . I'd like a 707 ultra 9mm myself . The gold plated ones receiver cover is even worse ... A 1-4x20 would not look to bad on there if you ever decided to scope it .
I have had my eye on the 9mm Career too. I have seen them in the classifieds from time to time. People often ask silly money for them but even when I see a good deal, I always end up giving it a miss for 3 reasons. 1: they are too heavy, 2: they are too loud and powerful for my needs, 3: they only work with Eun Jin pellets (which I'm not a fan of). They are cool though. I wish there were more under-leaver air guns.

If they made an updated version of the Ultra that was lighter, regulated, shrouded and made to work with longer projectiles, then it would be awesome. The original Ultra was the best deal I think there has ever been on a big bore air rifle. It was so cheap.

I agree on the gold receiver. Then again, I don't really like gold colored anything, including actual gold. The Career has been sold in black, silver and gold. Not sure why they changed.

I'm going to put a Clearidge ultra RM scope on it for now. It's 12oz and not too long but I might buy a pistol scope for it eventually. Have to decide if I'm keeping it first.
