Cats vs Dogs

I'm a crazy old cat man I guess. When I was younger I had dogs and I love them too but the katz happened along as I got older and they're my big buddies now. Two of them are sleeping by me now. They're great company. Cleaning up after cats or dogs is a small price to pay for what they bring to you.

Definitely oh Hanky boy. The wife's two monster cats are ok I guess but mostly a pain in the arse. All three are spoiled rotten.

I like the airgun community and don't want to cause anything everyone seems to help each other out and I appreciate that

I love them both. However, if I ever get another pet, it will be a cat. Much less trouble than a dog.
Not to mention that my neighbor's (more than a few) dogs are my "pets" as I give them all "treats" every morning. If I don't, they will keep barking until I do! (chuckle)
They are actually part of my "security system" as I can tell by their bark(s) when I need to go outside and check to see what is going on.
However, cats are much easier to care for, especially when you have to be gone for a while. Not to mention that I grew up with the best cat in the world.
To each their own and I won't admonish anyone for loving their pet. No matter what it is. (love to you all)

We have had both dogs and cats, I much prefer dogs, specifically medium sized dogs, 35 to 65lb and especially Aussies .
When our daughters lived at home we had cats too, but when they moved out they left the cat behind. Now it is just dogs.

I'm a dog person for sure. I had a cat, named Effex. good cat, got lots of pests, quiet, but always wandered. Never could rely on what it would do next.
The dog named Daiztate, great dog. Tough ole sonnufagun, reliable, loyal and always stayed where ya put him. A bit of a bark to him though.
Disclaimer, I've never had the above "pets". But I have this dog! And she loves my Marauder!!! She doesn't care if it's got bolt action.

Yep, I voted I hate pets. If didn't hate pets I'd have more than 8 dogs and 1 cat to rule us all.

I love dogs, but cats have always fit into our lifestyle better.
We lost Joe (my avatar) 2 years ago, he was 17.

Pets are wonderful, I enjoy them more than majority of people. Cats, Dog's, they both bring joy into our life and for me my dog is 100% family.

I agree completely. My cat has never let me down and always cheers me up. Litter box duties and food cost are a small price to pay.
