CF LSS Texan not firing! Please help I’ve tried everything

Hi all I’m new to here and was wondering if anyone can help me with this problem….my CF LSS Texan right out the box, purchased directly from Airforce Airguns won’t fire…all I hear is a dull click noise…

I’ve tried everything, including contacting Airforce Airguns like 5 times via email and left a message at their phone number…no response…I cock the gun, load a pellet, and remove the safety and it’s a no go…I’ve tried fiddling around with the adjuster but still nothing…someone mentioned removing the screw on the forearm that didn’t help either…some people said it’s not cocking fully but it’s cocking fully at a little bit over 90 degrees…I don’t want to keep trying firing it because maybe it can be considered dry firing since nothing is happening when I pull the trigger….i don’t want this to turn into a 1000+ dollar paperweight! Is there anybody else that has gone through this problem?

Air Force must be on holiday. They USUALLY have great customer service. A lot of my customers were closed until 1/2/25 and are digging out of their inbox.

I would try contacting them again. A little frustrating but I highly doubt you screwed anything up, Air Force guns are pretty damn robust.

ALWAYS TREAT EVERY GUN AS LOADED. POINT IN A SAFE DIRECTION BEFORE TRYING TO FIRE.

Do not worry about firing a PCP without a pellet in the barrel. No damage can occur, only louder than normal report and waisted air.

1. What does the tank gauge say? How did you fill the rifle up?

2. What is the power wheel set to?

3. Have you watched any videos on youtube yet?

4. Air Force rifles are hunting rigs, so they are not the easiest to cock? Are you sure the rifle is cocked? The power wheel could be cranked way up, causing the bolt to be very hard to operate.
