CF tanks are always trying to fall and roll

Since day one I wanted something to carry my tank and hold vertical when I fill my AG

Today decided to do easy to make stable frame

You can put your tank vertical or horizontal

It would not fall or roll 

Total price less than $20

You just need 1/2 inch plastic pipe 

8 3-way corner pieces

4 T-s

4 90 elbows

It took me not more than an hour

Very nice. I like how you added pipe to protect the valve assembly. Very creative. I wanted to buy a really nice tank bag but they are expensive and I would rather spend it on pellets or a new gun so I just used my sons old addidas backpack. Fits perfect. Plus it is padded and easy to carry with zippered pockets for my probes and connectors.

I get my tank filed at a fire station so I would have to take the bottle out of the holder for the fill. Maybe only glue half the joints. Will it slid out of the holder if the bottom is dissasembled?

You cam use screws to assemble part if it to remove the bottle...

My version built a few month ago. Used mesh drawer liner to protect the tank and foam pipe insulation to keep it off the ground. Also velcro straps to secure the tank down and a place to store my fill probes. Basically the same type of build as yours. Bill

Top is not glued

I can split frame and remove tank

It holds pretty well, even without glue

There’s another thread here on the tank tote. Here’s mine. 1” PVC. Top detaches using bolts but I can pull the tank up and slide it out without having to remove the top.
