Has anyone disassembled one of these? If so, is there a way to make it so you don't have to push in on it to open and Close? I have noticed that when I want to shut it off in a Hurry that if it's not just right, it locks up until you get it in the right groove to turn? lol Or would it rquire replacing it with a different Valve?

Hey tenbeers, no need to take off the jam nut, just tighten it until it stops, done. Makes all the difference in the world when the bottle is over 4000 and the guns max is 3000. Good (read easy) control of the valve and it's easy to not overcharge the gun, Just go slow. I love love love filling from an air bottle, quick, easy and convenient. Minimizes running El Cheapo to once a week, think I will just buy another 30 min. bottle, ganging the two at home gives me 9 liters, can set it up to take one with for use in the field. Changing out the CGA347 valves will be the simplest way to do that. Would only need a high pressure ball valve between the two bottles. The big one hour SCBA bottles are hard to find and pricey.
