FX Changing barrels on Crown MK2

When I took off the 600mm barrel the screws were at 10 inch pounds. I remember switching the pellet port over to the slug port so that is what I had set it at and it seemed to be doing okay so I left it there.

I bought a Cole-TAC flat bag and picatinny mount. Very nice.

I'm going to set this up for 650-700fps with the .25cal 25gr JSB pellets for plinking and pesting.

I'm going to be changing my 600mm barrel to a 380mm one and was wondering if there was a recommended torque setting for the 4 screws that secure the barrel. I was thinking around 15 inch pounds per screw, but thought I would ask.
Torque varies between type of barrels and caliber so i kinda know by feeling and the flex of the tool, but the most important is having a quality Allen wrench that isn’t worn out has min play preferred a tapered that has no play, not a ball allen. STX barrel requires less torque on a bigger caliber due to the wall thickness of the threaded brass/steel TP. If you over torque, you will jam the liner that makes it extremely difficult to remove the liner. The solid smooth twist barrel can handle more torque but don’t need too, I rather retighten when the screw gets loose vice, stripping the head that requires lots of hours removing that screw
