Cheap accurate air pistol?

my suggestion is the crosman 1322 pump... I've got a supped up one with an 18in barrel... I built mine for rabbit hunting, deadly out to 75yrds... pushing pellets down range @ over 400fps with 5 pumps / @ over 560fps with 10 pumps / @ over 600fps with 12 pumps... accuracy is great and not dependent on co2 cartridges...

Look around and find a Daisy 747. Around $200 for a clean one. The D717 doesn't have the Lothar Walther barrel, and the D777 is very nice, but there goes cheap. Be ready and jump on it, a fine single-stroke pneumatic pistol. Custom grips on my 747.

It really sucks the crosman custom shop is closed because they had a nice selection.

P17 is the most inexpensive gun that shoots well at 10 meters and still handles like a pistol.

P17 accurate to within 1/10th of a inch. I buy a new one very year. $45 dollars for the one i bought this year. 2 nicer versions of the same gun are availabe, the p3, p1? Both the price jumps on both.

+1 on the P17. I picked one up recently and it's a great shooter. It has a very good trigger for such an inexpensive pistol.

Another vote for the P17. been shooting one for years, still very accurate and has a decent trigger. Shot a field mouse off the bird feeder las night with it.

Yet another vote here for the P-17. Best accuracy and trigger of any air gun in the "dirt cheap" price range.

Also the Crosman 2240 and 1377 (or 1322) are very good and well under $100 each.

I'm a big fan of the 1377; I think every airgunner should have one. Really like the 2240 as well.
Just went to Midway and they still have the P17 for $26.99 but no free shipping. If it was still included on the free shipping, I would be very tempted to buy one and enough pellets to put it over $49.
