Cheaper bullpup options other than the FX Impact M4 Compact in .22?

Agreed with! @SpindleB I got a Throne Gen 2 coming in this week that I am excited to get my hands on!

Also the Zelos .22 and .25. So long as you add a large bottle to it, you will have plenty of shots even with increase power. Currently I have a zelos .25 shooting Zan 26.5gr at 1030fps and it's a laser. It also likes Javelin 40gr at 740fps before I upped the reg.

The p35x is also a great gun, I loved mine in .177, but I was on the quest for over 30fpe, so I moved it along.

The Akela .22 is hard to find but if you find one, get one if all you want to do is shoot pellets, they are serious tack drivers, at least in my experience.

For around 1k the U2 compact would be your best bet, they are amazing to carry, at just 6.2lbs with a synthetic or wood stock and 5.6lb with the CF stock. And you can get plenty of shots of that tiny bottle.

Only a used one. They dont come up often. The one that was in the classys is sold.
Sharg.pl has pretty much all of the Reximex.

Throne 2 for $566, yes they ship to US.

I am seeing this. Dont know where the $561 came from. Not counting shipping and customs from whatever country that is.

No qualms at all in recommending the Hatsan Flashpup 22cal. 1/2' groups out to 50 yds. JSB Hades and JSB 18gr pellets. I want the Hatsan Flashpup MKII in .177 but I can't get it here. It's a little rough to start out with but soon smooths out. She's a natural.
While it is a darn good rifle for the price, I belive the OP wants a rifle that can be tuned.

I had a flash for several years and it was a good shooter, it just isn't one that can be tuned.

What do you mean it can't be tuned? I could tune my flashpup .177 from 15fpe to 28fpe. You can also install regulators without having to mess with anything or cut into anything. You can change the hammer springs remove hammer spring weights as it has 2 of them.

I'm new to high end airguns. I've been around ariguns since I was a kid, but just Crossman, Daisy, etc. The FX Impact M4 Compact looks like a perfect match to what I want. (Walking around backyard taking rabbits.) The only issue with it is the price.

Does anyone make a comparable bullpup that is a lot cheaper than the FX in .22 or does one have to suck it up and pay the price for an FX if you want the total package?

My wants...

power
accuracy
reliability
low weight
compact
quality build

Thanks!

If you want to get a lower cost FX bullpup I would suggest the Maverick .22 either the 600mm vp or the compact. All it takes is a heavier hammer to open the power up for heavier stuff. I have the VP and put a 300cc CF bottle on it . 6lbs 11oz now and 31" long without a moderator. The Wildcat mk3 is about the same airgun.

But I would pick my less powerful Veteran 1 standard because of the build quality if I could only keep one . 34 fpe is plenty for the 18gr and under ammo . And 7.4 lbs isn't too heavy for me .

Yes, but can you externally adjust the regulator, hammer spring or the transfer port?

All of which you describe is aftermarket and not stock.

That sort of tuning. I doubt the OP wants to go from the level of adjustment an FX provided to the Flashpup level.
I get what you're saying, but they both have their pros and cons. If you don't know what you're doing, it's not going to matter if it's inside or outside. And if i'm just starting out, I'd rather, we practice on a cheaper gun that is not going to bother me if I damage it as much than it would on an expensive gun.
