AEA Checkout 100-yard Benchrest accuracy with AEA Challenger Pro in 25 Cal...

Very impressive benchrest rifle!
The $799 Challenger Pro has been on my radar, for quite some time!
I bought one from fox 6 months ago. 25 caliber. Couldn't get it to shoot one in groups at 50 yards. Sent it back for refund. Was told be fox that these where not bench rest rifles when I complained about spending hundreds of dollars on different ammo and none of it would group in that gun. Didn't offer to fix it or nothing. Just refunding my money like he knew the guns would not shoot straight. He talked me into getting the pro after I had accuracy issues with a challenger. So I spent the 800$ and got the gun, biggest waist of my time and ammo yet. I've owned 16 pcp air rifles. This was the most unaccurate rifle. A gamo springer would out shoot it a 50 yards.

Would you like to sell your Pro?
Ive never owned one, but there are plenty of Youtube videos showing the $799 Challenger Pro, and the newer Long Barrel Pro, are capable at 100 yards.
I see others say the same about rifles costing 3 times more.
Again, Ive never owned one, but its certainly on my radar.

Buy your self an crown, spend the extra, you get the extra
I have a FX Crown and love it.
If you decide to sell your Challenger Pro, please place an ad in the classifieds, and let me know!

Well, at least you got your money back from Fox. I have two Challenger Pros, one 22 and another 25. 22 I got used from an AGN member here, and it was tuned to shoot slugs and the trigger was polished for a crisp release. This one shoots perfect groups, I'm very happy with the results. The 25 I got new and while it shoots tight groups, no complaints, 22 has much better accuracy. The 25 still needs breaking-in, tuning, and some TLC. There are lots of complaints about AEA guns, but they mostly center around their reliability (specifically their semi-auto) and crappy mags. I don't think many people have issues with accuracy. Maybe you got a bad barrel, or it had a bad regulator, causing inconsistent FPS. Did you measure shot string and FPS?
