Chinese Air Tank Quality?

There's ton of user experience on these tanks here. Search Acecare tanks.

They are as good as any other cylinders.

Just be aware that they’re not DOT approved, so getting their hydro test is going to be hard. Plus, if you don’t have your own compressor, dive shops and fire stations won’t fill them for you without dot, and proper hydro test.

I like the Acecare tanks, but don't like most of their "package deal" tanks with valves. If you own your own compressor and don't need to pay extra for a DOT certified tank, I'd suggest you buy the tank of your choice for the best price you can find on Aliexpress. I suggest you pair it with this valve. Choose the valve with the thread that matches your tank. Most of the Chinese tanks take a valve with an M18*1.5 thread like this one.

These valves function much better than the ones with the red handles that are frequentdly sold on Aliexpress. They are priced very fairly for what they offer.

Brennon272- if you do not own your own compressor, you will need a reliable friend to fill that non -DOT tank.

Yes I have no issue now getting a tank refilled. All about buying the right one. Plan on doing a lot of hunting. Thought about a 75 cu ft one and either a smaller back pack size tank or a hill hand pump (already have).

Please be careful of what you buy and their claims. It may say DOT but not DOT approved. And Made in USA. May just mean PARTS of it are made in USA. There is bait and switch everywhere, not just Overseas but worst by your very own Americans.
