Chineseum little blue high pressure compressor rebuild

I rolled the dice on one of those $300 high pressure Chinese compressor and wouldn't you know it, I crapped out. It was already burned out when it arrived. They apparently sent me one that had already been returned. When it showed up at my house , the box was all wet with the burnt smelling hydraulic oil that had leaked out of it during transportation. I bought it from one of Amazon's 3rd party vendors. When I went to return it to them, they were slow to respond and when they finally did, they expected me to pay for the shipping. I got tired of playing around with them so I started an Amazon A to Z guarantee. That got their attention and they told me I could keep it and they would refund all my money if I call off the A to Z guarantee. So I did. However, as part of the guarantee, I was going to be keeping it and getting all my money back anyway. I would have accepted an exchange..

Anyway, so now I've got this compressor I need to rebuild. Does anyone know where I can get parts for these things? Is there a rebuild kit? The problem with it is that it overheats within a min or 2 and I pump ice water through it. I've even hooked a bigger water pump on it but no matter what, it reaches max temp within a min or 2. After those 1 or 2 min of operation are enough to make the fresh hydraulic oil black and burnt smelling. I only ran it twice , the second time the motor seized up but I was able to turn it by hand and get it moving again.

any info would be appreciated.

I was just told to keep mine and get refunded also, it must be the norm. I’m having different problems than you, electric and the head gasket was leaking and it was Seizing up. I think the electric motor is weak so like you l turned the crank to get it going. It had a fire inside the hose and it was no longer shining and the spring wire around the hose also changed colors, it started at compressor and worked its way & stopping at the filter. I’m making the gasket tomorrow. Eliexspress sells some parts for it and I believe you can order parts from yong heng. I’ll let you know if I find them first, please let me know if you find a place.

That one of the problems mine had , would go from 20 deg to 65 in 3 or 4 min regardless of what I did with the cooling . The high pressure head would cool properly but all the excess heat was generated in the first stage cylinder which is air cooled . Filled a 500cc bottle about 4 times before it coughed and stoped building pressure . Would have to shut down to allow it to cool at least twice to fill that small bottle from 150 bar to 250 . If I fix it I will get a complete cylinder package for the proper yong heng .

I just finished rebuilding / retrofitting my not-skookum chineseum compressor a few weeks ago. Can you take a picture of the compressor you have? There are a few different variants of these blue compressors (varying cylinder head styles). One version is relatively easy to get parts for, the other is not. If you can show me which you have, I might be able to help out. An actual picture is preferred, because I've found out the hard way that some of these sellers advertise model A, and ship out model B.

For what it's worth, when my compressor asw delivered, I had pretty much the same issues as you did. I decided to tear the whole thing apart (and very glad I did) to find lots of metal debris in places where it shouldn't be. My thought is that the manufacturer slams these compressors together with rough cast parts, and then they power them on using brute force to mesh things together without care for all the metal debris it creates. I had metal flakes from the crankcase, up to the cylinder & piston, and all the way up the high pressure "second stage".

Got mine through Amazon, company was Orange A. Had a relay problem, didn’t get any satisfaction from Orange A, filed a claim through Amazon got a refund an they didn’t ask for the pump back. Had a friend look at the relay found a loose resistor. Got it running then a spring broke on the first stage check valve. Running good now, but not optimistic about the future of this pump. Used the refund to order an Air Venturi Nomad.
