Choose: AGT Uragan Compact .22 or FX Impact MkII Compact .22

I wont break your rule about those specific models so I'll just say that (as I'm sure you know) you have a lot more options with the Impact (along with it's increased complexity). The Urgagan (yes I have a few now) are more utilitarian and have far fewer options for 'changes'.

Given that, I have 3 (4rth on order) Uragans. I had a bad run of experiences with the Impacts, but that was early on.

I know its subjective(always is!)but I feel I hear good things about one coming from honest owners while the other I hear is the "best thing ever" being shouted at me from every paid sponsor... said another way(and again subjective) which one do you see more threads about being broken/ not working on here? I know which one that is in my book... uragan for me!

Only have a .25 Impact not a compact but after 10K+ rounds through it I have no need to try anything else. In it's current tune it most often gives me .5 to 1 inch groups at 100 yards at 74 fpe. Infinitely tune-able and very few problems that I have not created myself. It's extremely easy, fairly inexpensive and fast to change out liners and probes for caliber changes although I seldom do this anymore because I love the .25.

Having owned both full size models, I feel I can compare the general models, I would choose the Impact... maybe not... Then again, if I wanted the compact version only, that means it wouldn’t be for bench use and it probably would be dedicated pesting, so maybe I would go with the Uragan. They are close...

If I didn’t want to adjust anything and wanted it right out of the box, then obviously the Uragan. It is cheaper and in compact form, I’m not expecting to squeeze every ounce of perfection out of a compact. Might as well save money and still be super happy with the rifle.

When I switched from an Impact to an Uragan, you will see that I was very happy and did it for the savings (moving from 30 to 22 and to a less expensive rifle). I like that the Impact has more aftermarket parts to make it fit better (than either are in standard form), but that also makes it much more expensive (more than it already is). The Uragan is a great rifle, but I do personally think the Impact might be better.

But in this case, because of the constraints on the compact as the options, and thinking about why I would by a compact, I think I would stick to the Uragan.

Had the Vulcan in .25 , excellent gun with side cocking, had a few issues early on but the manufacturer was quick to respond and send part's.

Have the Compact for several months now ,with a second barrel kit, no issues at all , love the versatility of this platform, that said I don't like the second stage of this trigger, cannot set light enough and causes me to pull shot's, less I'm very careful.

My Impact is one of the guns I've owned that is more difficult to shoot accurately, but is very accurate if I try hard. I wasn't on board with the Impacts for a long time but the Compact drew me in and love it.

To be honest my Cricket Mini Carbine is the best for me, not versatile or as powerful as the other two but great trigger super accurate without trying to hard and smooth and warm to carry.
