N/A Choosing a .30 cal

I agree the Gauntlet has a bottle but I don't see how it could be upgraded. I also agree that the Airacuda Max .30 was available at some point because I see them for sale on here, but if you try to buy a new one it says that they are slated to be available 12/05/2024
The bottle on my g30 is a 700cc bottle.

I am a new airgun shooter but have been shooting firearms for 45 years. I have an Airacuda Max in .22 and have enjoyed it so much I would like to add a .30 cal. for larger game. I am looking at the Umarex Gauntlet SL 30 and the JTS Brawn. Both get great reviews and I think either would work for me. My only hesitation is the lower air volume. Is there a quality .30 cal. with a bottle that could be upgraded for under $800? Thanks in advance.
Where you located Rick? If you're in Southwest Florida you could come by to try out my SL30.

That Karma looks pretty good. I wish more rifles followed suit with large tube-shaped bottles instead of just the Regular bottle design. But that's just Me. That was why I liked the looks of the AEA Pro series.
I’m in on it as long as it has hammer pre load adjustment so you can change it to match reg pressure. I believe it does have it. I can’t imagine they wouldn’t put that feature in it. Even AEA has put it in the new LB challenger pro models.

Supposed to be a new gun coming down the pipe in the next few months. The Karma EQ. Looks pretty sweet for 900. I am super interested. Bit over 800 but there aren’t many .30 budget options. This looks like it would be good bang for the buck.

That looks like a solid option although ETA eas last month.

Those both look great!
Take into consideration that must probably is that you will shoot JSB Hades for hunting.

Those pellets cause a lot of tissue damage.

You can hit a jackrabbit at 200 yards with pellets and slugs….. But for bigger animals you will be shooting closer than 100 yards…. Normally. And for 100 yards Hades work well.
