Other Choosing an M4 question

And this is where the train starts going off the tracks. His gun is currently in for repairs because of horribly slow first shots and he has to check his zero constantly while hunting. I could provide a link to his latest topic. The reality topic that usually pops up after the honeymoon topic.
Its true its back for repair but I'd take a dreamline classic or daystate reever in .177 all day over .22! I have a classic and its such a pleasure to shoot. Honeymoon aside fx line still is super accurate gun's. The daystate probably more so in the .177 cal guns.

The vast majority of M4 have the slow shot syndrome after the gun parked overnight, if this is something you can live with then by all mean. This problem doesn't bother me since i'm never in any situation where I couldn't fire a few blank shot for 'warm up', but there are those who simply refused to put up with it and think it's a deal breaker.

Personally i went with .22 in 600mm, most versatile caliber IMO, with tons of options in both pellets and slugs, comfortably good and quiet for ~50fps right out of the box with zero upgrade.

Mine was more 30-60 shot's to settle out or at least that's where I stopped. Personally its to much money to show up in that condition no matter who you are. It'd be silly to argue other wise

I have not been fixing to buy another FX in spite of all my fun with the Maverick, since then i got a AGT Vulcan 3 and i now have a Epic airguns Two.
The DRS classic had me wound up though, but then as its knobs are not reachable, and i am not the kind of guy that take a girl to dinner but no dance, well the DRS just had to go on the back burner.
Right now i am a bit torn, really like the RTI Mora, but it is at the very limit of my ability / want to pay for a new rifle.
So i am hoping IWA and what not will surface something nice that can get my old ticker going
Do like me, After a lot of FX (Bobcat, Impact 3, Panthera and Dynamic) I have test the RTI Mora Standard in .22,and what a good surprise ! Look at my videos on my page. I put one in link at the end. Everything are include, Pin probe, 2 magazine, Silencer, barrel for slug and pellet... :

mine and few that I have seen took less than 10 shots to get back up to full speed after parking for weeks or months, i'm going to call out your exaggeration if not downright fabricated fake news on needing 60 shots to level out.

I dare you to take a video recording and showing how your M4 is taking 60 shots to normalize the speed you had it set for.

Dare me? Are we kids? Or do I need your validation of my situation?

I don't really understand all the M4 bashing. I had an M3 first, now an M4. It shoots lights out. Every time I take it out. Without much tuning I have a super low ES (5 fps), hole in hole, ... No upgraded parts done, except for some eye candy.
The slow first shot is not a myth, it exists. But a simple cleaning of the valve rod solved the problem for me. First shot is now 20fps slower (930 fps), as from the second it's dead on (950 fps). No difference in POI so it's not a real issue. And if the slightly slower first shots bother you it's easily resolved by one dry shot.

So if you want an FX impact M4, go get one while they're hot. It's an amazing gun and you'll love it!
I have the .22 in 700 tuned for 25.4 gr at high speed. It's very very quiet with the stock moderator, so definitely backyard friendly.

I'm calling you out for spreading fake news and you've made a bogus wild claim of taking 60 cold shots to recover the speed. :ROFLMAO:
Thats what I love straight to the point! Don't try to sucker me in with your story and then really low key talking crap. Just come for the throat and be done with it. And no there is no video need. Talked to the tec while we did the shot string and he was more then satisfied with it being a mistake with the gun.

Hopefully it’s good to go when you get it back. I’m sure they will give it at least an overnight check before sending it back to you. With all the liars and exaggerators guns coming back, I‘m sure they know what to do to get it back to maybe only a couple dry fires. They know what going on with these guns even if others are in denial. Some guns definitely worse than others which is kinda weird. But I feel it’s dependent on how far from the plateau a gun is tuned.
