Never thought about chrono discrepancies. I thought they were calibrated in the factory?
I wasn't aware that it (Caldwell) was known to be a inaccurate device.. The old Chrony I had used to give me better ES but on airguns I no longer own so I never thought anything of it.I think the ProChrono is correct, based on my usage, and the Caldwell is known to be a crappy chrono.
I need to just sit down and read I guess. I had 6 duplicates in a row on the machine itself yesterday with the Zbroia and it only recorded one. Same thing happened on the Jager and Vixen. ( not six) My battery was fully charged as well as the chronograph's battery ( I use rechargable 9V batteries in the chrono's) I'm also not seeing FPE on the side with mine.. Instead I have to open another page to see it.@MACTEN It sucks when duplicate shots aren’t picked up. Let us know how that works for you. Yesterday I had two or three duplicates in a row and it read them. That’s a first. See shots 6-8

One thing to keep in mind, be sure that your phone is charged or attached to a charging bank. Yesterday I ran mine so long that I got a low battery warning that I didn’t hear and it didn’t transmit those shots from the chrono to the phone. In fact the app wouldn’t record any shots until I cleared the message. The chronograph read those shots. I think there’s a way to transmit a thread or missed shots (that weren’t transmitted to a wireless device) to the app. I forget how to do it. Play with your chrono. It does a number of things that we paid decent money for. Also there’s a data backup function that I saw yesterday, but I’ve never used. I always export single shot strings.
I imagine its just software. Then maybe they mite random pull one off the line to " check" .. and if its in there + or - then its assumed all the test in between the check devices are all good as well (??) .Never thought about chrono discrepancies. I thought they were calibrated in the factory?
Averaging 65 ft lbs or better seems pretty good from a pellet rifle. What caliber and weight were the pellets?@MACTEN It sucks when duplicate shots aren’t picked up. Let us know how that works for you. Yesterday I had two or three duplicates in a row and it read them. That’s a first. See shots 6-8

Thanks, that's a pretty hot little number then.@Deadeye Dick .22 caliber Huben K1 shooting 25.39 grain pellets.
Which chronograph did you end up getting? Working out good I take it?Lot of Caldwell guys with apple not happy. Mostly the app dont work or kinga works on there old device but not the other .. so cadwell has suffered using apple stuff..
Personally cadwells just was not a front runner ..lol like i said i chose a 30$ china over a on sale 64$ amazon cadwell from the software issues i read about.. the base cut and dry stuff the china gives is all i need overall anyway..
The procrno line looked better but never found a good sale at the time and prefered over cadwells. Did not see as much crying on there's..
Right now I have my .25 Huben tuned down to about 68 fpe to save some air but I'm also going to 350 bar..@Deadeye Dick .22 caliber Huben K1 shooting 25.39 grain pellets.
