When buying used guns or equipment...DO YOUR DUE DILIGENT, RESEARCH, HOMEWORK...before handing over your hard earned cash !!!

I just watched a gun (apparently) sell for a way over priced amount. This is per the seller's combined, comments to me and his, "FOR SALE" ad.

NOT saying names or the gun sold. JUST BE CAREFULL .

Whoa!! I just looked. Unbelievable, but then again either the seller just marked it that way or an eager beaver came along. If it sold, I didn’t see that coming. But hey, stranger things have happened here. If both parties are satisfied it’s really none of my business, but I wouldn’t have bit. Or maybe I would’ve when I was new.

I know - I am one of those buyers at times, but I had to have it and tough to find otherwise - sometimes the condition or the character of the wood can overwhelm common senses. Found that WTB 'can be' worse at times as sellers already know you might pay more for it. I'll actually pay more here on the AN forum because I actually get to see it compared to the store fronts. How the seller treated, accessories, and presentation makes a difference to me.

However, when the item is higher by a couple of hundred than the distributor pre-order or store fronts, gives me a little pause. Or, limited edition models which come in pink, seriously pink? Okay, yes, that was not considerate of feelings ... pink is a fine color choice.
