Many people’s ideas of what their stuff is worth is an utter waste of web space. I especially love the pellets that can be bought from PA for the same price or cheaper. So annoying!! Absolutely, and if you've reposted your ad 17 times your price might be a bit high.

On the "payment accepted " option. I'm an old guy somewhat ignorant on on-line payments. I have stated this to sellers and respectably asked if I could send them a check. I will then tell them I'm happy to wait until my check clears their bank. I've only one time a seller told me no because they needed the money right away.. I can certainly understand that and wish them well.

I see you are willing to take trades for your rifle....i have a 3/4 full tin of mixed pellets(only shot once each), some dirty shop rags you could wash and use again, and a broken scope that was never intended for ag use but there are probably some usable parts on there???
Let me know!!!!

Potentially more accurate to the craigslist buyers...but they are out there

Two things:

1-I will miss your contributions because you are one of the very very few people that I follow on this site

2-I've sold over a hundred air guns. Mostly 10 m springers on the old yellow forum. I've also sold a lot of powder burners since I was an FFL until about 10 years ago. Too much paperwork and too much record keeping and too much bureaucracy. Because of these experiences I think your post should become a sticky

Not so much buyer etiquette, but a tip.
and before I start, this is why I detest folks making multiple accounts. I recently saw where one banned individual who was banned under different accounts as well, is now back under yet a different account.

If I see a gun I want for sale on the Classifieds, I will go back on that persons earlier posts to see what they wrote about the gun. Did they have issues with it? Did they try to mess with it. There are certain guns that lend themselves to tinkering.. does that person know what they are doing? All of this can be found out rather quickly just by searching posts of the seller. It's not fool proof, but it's a good start.

5) Do not say "I'll take it", "Lets do this", "Consider it sold" and then ask more questions about the item (this is arguably the most annoying and frustrating).
6) If you have CONSIDERABLY lesser feedback than the seller, your suggestions on pricing and how to sell are probably falling on deaf ears..... especially after youve shown you are cheap (see number 7) , if they have near 100 positive transactions, mostly selling, they probably are pretty good at selling and pricing, theyve earned this feedback!
7) Don't be cheap, it might cause you to be excluded next time you inquire with said seller


Anyways, its been fun guys, thanks to all who have reached out asking why I am getting out and "where ive been" , I have some family concerns to handle along with travel to do that isn't going to allow me to airgun this year, I will be picking up a powder burner or 2 for shtf and hd and thatll be the extent of my shooting from here on out.
