I decided to give my three airguns a little TLC and cleaned the barrels. A Crosman 2289 (1 year old), Crosman 2300S (1 year old) and a Beeman P-3 (20 year old). It took numerous patches I lost count probably close to 50 (using both sides) to get the 2289 where I stopped. The 2300S and P-3 took way less, around 15 patches. I also noticed when I looked down the barrel with a light and magnification the P-3 and 2300 looked like it had a mirror finish I can't say that about the 2289. I know I'm not comparing apples/apples them German barrel
. I'm so glad I didn't sell the P-3 which I had intended to do before I brought it to the range to make sure it was working properly before putting it up for sale.
