Clean up crew showed up.

I had a couple sparrows get lodged in the wires and dead ivy up on the power pole yesterday. This guy decided to come and clean them up and have a snack.

I watched him rip the wings and feathers off and then swallow the bodies.

He also had the resident mockingbird as a spectator.

Yesterday i was sad i did not have a scope cam, as i was sitting there shooting 30 M groups a big eagle sored right across in front of me and landed in a tree to the left.
One more shot at the 30 M paper and it did not like that and sored off at a 45 degree angle towards the trees behind / over the 123 M targets.
I just had to stop shooting and take a look at that big boy in the scope.
I will guesstimate its wind span to be 4 - 5 feet

The European golden eagle or " king eagle " as we Danes call it can have a wing span as big as 7.5 feet.
The one i saw was a juvenile i think, big but not THAT BIG

The bird actually was extinct in Denmark for 150 years, but it is thankfully back. and nesting every year not far from my friends house, so we see them soar quite often.
