Cleaning a .177 Barrel?

I don't own any cleaning rods that are small enough for a 0.177 barrel. What do you experts recommend for cleaning an air gun barrel of this caliber?

If you want to do it with stuff around the house, you can use weed wacker line. Just melt 1 end so its a small bulb that will hold a patch (or a cut up cotton t-shirt).

I used 25 pound fishing line and tied Patch on the end of it and pulled through the barrel until I Bought a decent pull through Barrel cleaner.

+1 for the Crown Saver. I buy the 3” square white cotton patches and cut them in half. Feed the CS from the muzzle out the breech. Fold the 1+1/2” x 3” patch in half lengthwise. Center it on the CS loop and pull it out thru the muzzle. Uj

Not sure why my 177 guns do not require cleaning as much as my 22 and 25 caliber guns, Maybe just the smaller pellet....I think the Crown saver is the way to go,,, Do not put a metal rod in the barrel....

they do make a brass 17 caliber size rod with ends set .. i got one originally for my 17hmr .. not a big fan of fishing line through any barrel and prefer a rod .. just have to be careful you cant go at it like you just got off the short bus ..
