Cleaning a Daystate barrel

I use a patchworm on my Red Wolf, no problems. Just be sure the patch is aligned straight with the breech when you start it. Obviously, the only way to be sure of no damage is to remove the O ring, which is very easy on the Red Wolf, if you prefer.
What he said….

I clean my Safari .22 HP after every 100-125 pellets with patchworm. I found it gets 2 or 3 patches with led sediments with this shot frequency interval. Max 5/6 patches before clean.

But, a couple of times I was moving too fast and did not have the .22 button lined up exactly on the chamber. Any angle but straight is not good.

Patch was left at Breech and the pull thru was very hard to come out of the muzzle.

Simple to resolve, just make sure the button is aligned straight.

The oring is easy to take out, with the right tool, but a pain to put back in, on a 177 & 22 I use the worm patch to put the oring back in, all I do is put the worm patch in the pellet end when push the oring in and slowly pull the worm patch out I have done this with the barrel & scope on the gun
