Climbing on my soapbox FX!!

Hey All,

Had a long day at work and think I am just in the mood to gripe about something so gonna jump on my soap box for a minute!

FX PLEASE RAMP UP PRODUCTION ON YOUR ACCESSORIES AND SUPPORT FOR IN MARKET ITEMS!!!

I have been a loyal FX buyer for a LONG time.....You name it I have bought it, shot it etc. I am a big fan of the brand. I love how you just seem to get it right (most of the time)...

I am starting to see the shine coming off the diamond so to speak....

It seems liners etc. always sold out, pellets find me a tin of FX .25's, picatinny rings, good luck,....Not to mention the guns themselves!

I primarily ONLY buy from one or two places and have always had good luck with those retailers tracking down what I want etc. but seems more and more it is "Wait list is open and could be a month or two".

I know Covid....TRUST me I get it delays etc. but this was an issue long before that reared its ugly head!

Not bragging by ANY means but in the past three months I have spent OVER 15k on FX guns and accessories and yet I can't find a damn pellet liner....NOT exaggerating OVER $15,000.00!!!

I own multiple MK3 Wildcats....FX in their release said "Hey guys you can swap calibers now like the Crown and Impact and Dreamline!!" NO FX you can't because the barrel kits do not exist yet and if they do where the hell are they!! Besides a dial and different magazine all my MK2 Wildcats accomplish the same thing as the new ones!!

I am sure if you would have polled your customers FX, we would have to a man said "Get us the support for the in market stuff first and then launch the new Wildcat".

It is not just lack of the peripherals that gets me....I have multiple MK2 Impacts at over 2k a pop....Guess how many have accurate gauges?

Wanna talk about the crappy transfer port and probe alignment?

How about air tube leaks on the Dreamline?

I LOVE your stuff guys, I really do but take care of the issues we are seeing and reporting on what we own and shoot and get the stuff we want on the shelves!!

Airgunners have a knack for identifying issues and solving them on our own to help us improve accuracy or power etc. Take a look at what guys are doing to the Impacts and Crowns and Dreamlines etc. and then implement those changes!

We will not be mad if you don't release a new whatever exactly on time but c'mon guys help us out a bit!!

Ok back to your regular scheduled programming....

Stay Safe,

Dr. Mike

P.S.- ANYONE steer me in the direction of a damn .22 700mm pellet liner B???????

I have been away from FX for three years. Recently I returned. Don't get me wrong, I love my gun. But the excitement of different liners and barrel lengths quickly diminished when I went looking for them. FXUSA has been top notch for parts until I needed one that they don't have in stock. That whole project got tossed onto the back burner until lord knows when. From a business standpoint, maybe FX is smart. There isn't anything on shelves collecting dust.

I thought it was pretty cool of FX to announce their MKIII Wildcat and have it available to immediately purchase, rather than the usual process where we are waiting months or years. No company is perfect, they at least put their profits back into innovation, but maybe I'd be less forgiving if I'd spent as much as you and had bad experiences.

Appreciate everyone's comments and we understand where you guys are coming from. It can be very frustrating to not get an accessory, component, or rifle that you have been looking forward to. And yes the recent Covid activities has effected things, but quite differently than people realize.

As many know FX Airguns has grown rapidly over the last few years, and as Goodoldbvc pointed out correctly, we don't rest on our laurels, but constantly pour resources back into growing our company, innovating our rifles, and expanding what we can do to give shooters the best possible experience we can. That heavy demand and growth was already in place when the world shifted in early March. There was a lot of uncertainty about what would happen, and though FX Sweden was able to still operate, logistics and supply chains were disrupted. At the same time FX has seen explosive growth as more and more shooters have discovered the joys of shooting our rifles (and simply found the joys of airgunning) and it seems the Covid times have turned a lot of people onto airguns. So essentially high demand has risen to extreme levels.

We are rapidly scaling up our production in all areas, hiring and training, but always with the quality control that is expected of us. And keep in mind increased production starting today doesn't hit shelves at the dealer level for 60 days. We're always focused on getting it right, and never rushing and tarnishing the end product. Production is ramping up. Product is pouring into importers and dealers, more than ever before, but demand is also higher than ever before.

And also note that FXUSA is passionate about treating all our dealers fairly. New items are allocated and spread across all dealers, backorders are communicated, margins for the little guy match the margins for the bigger shops (so they can grow) and we are in constant contact with dealers to help them meet their demand as ultimately, we want our end customers taken care of. Of course dealers do their part as well with pre-ordering items, carrying inventory, anticipating demand and being partners with us. It's one of the foundations of why FX doesn't sell directly to customers (like many other manufacturers do). We know the role dealers play, we appreciate their efforts, and we don't want to undercut them ever!

Airgunning is a sport that is rapidly growing as more and more shooters understand all the things members here at AGN understand. Modern PCP airguns are something quite special, something marvelous. The engineering, precision, and shooting experience is unmatched.

Though it's ultimately a good problem, we know demand is outpacing our manufacturing, but not for long. Be patient with us, and ultimately thank you for being such great customers to FX Airguns. We have your back and don't take comments and concerns like this lightly.

Hi FX,

Thanks for jumping in and like I said I get it.....

I understand innovation and appreciate how you load balance your inventory etc. and my dealer always speaks very highly of how FX does business....

All the other stuff yep, I agree!

Speaking of quality control...I have yet another new Impact MK2 coming from a Dealer....Will be here Friday. Will the gauges be accurate? Also yet another barrel kit (I have 62 now 63). Already ordered the dual port transfer port and probe because I know the factory one won't line up.

I am guessing this is not the first time you all have heard these complaints...Just fix em. I got a .30 Impact last week was shooting 740 FPS and the reg was at 135. Even posted a topic on this forum because I could not get the thing to shoot even remotely up to speed....Guess what, put an upgraded gauge on it and the reg was actually at 81 so upped it to 110 and back in business.

All I was saying is can we get some of this stuff fixed. When I buy a 2k gun it should be right....end of discussion. I expect that.

I will keep buying your product, I LOVE how they function, I LOVE the adjustability,LOVE the accuracy, LOVE the power etc.

That is great about the liners shipping next week....I won't hold my breath there will be any on the shelf to be had but already emailed my dealer to throw my name in the hat for one.

Ok that was a long rambling response...Forgive me was on shift last night!

Stay Safe,
