Closed 10 Meter 40 Shot, January 1st. High Score --- Greg5850 ------- 393

"Kitplanenut"Have never figured out how to post pictures, but this gives me incentive. I get it figured out, count me in. This is a great endeavor. On Saturdays some of the guys drop over and there is a 10m range set up in my shop. It's how we decide who buys lunch. Competition gets rather stiff! Good times. sylvan

If that is all that's holding you back pm me for my email. You can send them to me and I'll post the targets for you.

Ok guys my total score is 351. It is harder than I expected. Never shot a 10 meter shoot before. Wow the shakes....

Nice first round Sylvan. For sure we can all add a few points to next rounds score.

Tony, my S500 weighs in at 13.5 pounds. I added .5lb to the butt stock this past weekend. Another .5 added to the back will ballance it out. Also you don't have to shoot all 40 shots in a row. I added 10 points to my second round card by shooting 5 rounds then take 60sec before the next five. I also took a 20 min break between cards.

"shutik"Here are some suggestions to the next month's target:
1. Have smaller rings.
2. Have more rings, so possible scores on individual target have wider range.
3. Have few most inner rings be black, so they are visible without scope from 10 meters.
Gateway to Airguns has more 10 meter targets available for printing than you can shake a stick at. I don't want to stir the pot but if you can't find a target there that is good for both scope and aperture shooters I'll just go take a swim in Lake
Erie tonite...........brrrrr.

"tonyv138"The gun is really heavy for un-aded offhand 40 shot string. Close to 14lbs. I need to develop a better technique.
Also, i hope the target is changed to a proper 10M Olympic style. I hope to use a gun more suited for that discipline then.
That's about what mine weighs. Even worse, it's poorly balanced, wayyy barrel heavy. I may give it a try anyway. :)

Yep some good shooting here. I think over the next few months my score will go up. My gun is like 17 lbs. way heavy. Too heavy. I also need to adjust it. If I shoot more 10 meters I might go buy an Airforce Edge. We have a couple of 10 meter shoots in my area. Hate to buy more stuff but this is more fun than I have had shooting for a while.
