CO2 cartridges

Was in the local wal mart and noticed some CO2 cartridges, $15.46 /40 count. Went home and checked some of the on line vendors. Pyramid air 2, 4.95 + 12.51 shipping on one carton or 14.05 for 3, Twice the cost per cylinder. I went back and cleaned them out of the three boxes they had. May check the wal mart in next town when there later this week. They also had no .22 pellets, plenty of .177.

People still shoot c02 guns? Once I got into pcp I toss all co2 guns away lol. Never looking back. Pcp is the way to go. I guess can plink with co2 but still can't beat pcp with a compressor. Endless supply of air. All you need is pellets and can plink non stop and no worries about running out of co2 or the cold dropping your fps. I believe the last time I even bought a box of co2 was 2008? Lol

I thought about all of that. I have so much stuff that I really don't have space for a dedicated special purpose compressor. I also don't care to go to the expense of the compressor and a lot of those guns that I see. For me CO2 is convenient. I can stick a couple of cartridges in the pocket, a tin of pellets in the other, take my gun and go outside and shoot generally more than I care for a day. If it's going to be cold enough to give drastic effects I will probably be inside .

Yeah, that's what all the PCP and spring-piston shooters that I whipped thought, too.

Yet another.

They also thought .177 was a a superior competition caliber. However all these titles and records were captured with .22 Co2 guns; in every case the only .22 or Co2 gun in each competition.

Guess you could say I was "plinking" off my competition, huh? 😉 😂

Yup, 15 bucks for 40 at Meijer.

No Meijer, but I got 40 for 15.46 at wal mart. and will probably pick up some more while available at that price. I can buy a lot f carts for the price of a pump, and a tank and refilling at a dive shop, the closest one of those I know of is about 50 miles away, and do not know if they fill those type tanks.

I had seen them at the local walmart , came home and checked the price I had paid on line and they were like $15 a box less. so placed an on line order to lock them in. Went back down a few hours later and picked them up. I was planning on hitting walmart in Tyler Tx on Fridayk when I have to go up to the VA clinic, but can pass on thay joy now. I will probably try Academy and see if they have any of the Crosman pellets, the other day the Gander Outdoors did not, I had to take my wife a couple of places and she was getting tired so passed on any other looking that day.
