co2 pistol

looking for a light weight co2 pistol , pellets , and able to hold co2 for a longer time
She tried my Benjamin 1377 but can not pump it even 3 times. light weight is important .
any suggestions welcome

co2 guns are not built to hold in the gas for long amounts of time, try a pcp for always pressurized work. If you not trying to kill stuff, maybe a BB close by would deter them? Umarex has a .50 rubber ball paint ball marker type pistol, that has a quick charge co2 button on the bottom of the grip, that might work for you.

I use a little Diana Airbug 177 CO2 pistol. It'll hold CO2 for maybe a week. The gas cartridges are really cheap at WalMart so I don't care if it loses gas or I have to bleed it off every week or so and put in a new one. I chase squirrels out of garden and don't care to kill them, only give them something to think about. The Diana is pretty cheap at Pyramid Air as is the Bug Buster scope which focuses down to 3 yards. Might give this combo a try as it will be more user friendly and is really light weight.

i 2nd the Airbug, but perhaps in .22

i use a green laser instead of a scope. way faster acquisition, for me at least. a lot lighter too.

this is a "Chaser", but still a good example of what i mean. (edit: yours would be prettier i'm sure! lol)

oh, and with a tiny laser, plenty of room for the magazine. ya want that multi-shot! otherwise, high rings.

Might wanna check the laws, I believe predatory birds are protected. Better safe than sorry.

Believed they are protected,but you can harass them,so would be better of with a weak BB rifle.
a paint ball pistol,look at it this way,as Bob Marly would say,"liven up the place"..just kidding.
We used those medallic long strips to keep the birds from eating our fruit,that only lend to more food for the squirrels....

If close range, Id try shooting cleaning pellets at them if you are just trying to send a message to them.... It wont hurt and will probably startle them to move on...

FWIW, I just checked one of my Crosman 600's. From my notes I put a new Co2 cartridge in April 10 and fired 9 shots. I just put 6 more through it and expect to max out at around 35 shots as usual with either one of my 600's.

I was just checking some of the 22xx type guns I had built up. I thought most of them had been emptied of CO2, but one still had a cart and enough left for a couple of shots after about 3 months of no use.

My apologies if this is unrelated. The original post has changed, but it seems like you are looking to ward off birds of prey. My wife loves her chickens but sometimes hawks come and kill the chickens. She doesn't like guns, so no air gun for her, but she seems to like using slingshots. So I got her a bowl of dried beans, and she shoots at hawks when they come by. They fly away and dont come back for a while. Dried beans from a slingshot don't do much damage, barely leaves a mark on drywall.

Now with hawks barely coming by, chickens have been safe.. but now we've got a bunch of mice coming by now... maybe hawks were controlling mice population. So I ended up getting an air pistol (Beeman P-17) to kill the mice.. but I have been unsuccessful after days of shooting at them. Shooting at a tiny, fast moving mice seem to be a lot more challenging than stationary target shooting. I like it though. It is incomparably cheaper than .45 ACP, and I can shoot in my backyard.
