Has anyone else seen this? Coke bottles will blow up with 60psi but other bottles won't. I have noticed Pepsi products just let the pellet pass through. I will try them with a little more pressure and see if I can get them to pop.

I have not used the 20 ounce bottles like this yet, but I have had the same issue with smartwater bottles. I used both the 1.5l and 1l bottles pressurized to 80 psi and they don't go boom. The pellet passes straight through and the air hisses out. I think the problem may be the thickness of the plastic. Smartwater bottles seem to be made of a thicker plastic than most other brands. They are so tough that only 2 or 3 of them deformed around the bottom when I pressurized them to 80 psi. Hopefully other shooters will post which bottles bring the boom and which don't so we know which ones to use.

I don't drink many Pepsi products and can't remember? Seems like I've had no problems with Mountain Dew if that's a Pepsi product?
I keep my regulator set at 90 psi, so I couldn't tell ya much about the lower pressures.

Good one Jeff, I see you had it tied up by the valve stem. That way ya don't have to hunt for it when the bottle burst ;-)
