Airforce Cold weather Big bore shooting

@357cal that's a whole lot of math to justify owning any one of those big bores. My Western Rattler 45 proudly cost me around $7.14 per pfe. That is not including the cost of the over 25 pounds of swaged lead slugs that I've put through it so far. It's a great new semi auto airgun that I'm pretty sure nothing is going to go wrong with that I can't get resolved myself or fixed under warranty in a timely manner.

3. Weight: The Texan is lighter, making it easier to handle over long distances.

While the Rattler has more features like semi-automatic firing, for the purpose of cost-efficient, powerful long-distance shooting, the 457 Texan with Long Barrel provides the better value. remember you said , but what's with the new 357 & 45 Rattler's that you would disparage them? and i have told you. Don't take it personal.

No I would not buy any fx airgun for deer hunting. I bought a .25 for critters but it puts out almost 80 fpe which is a dead deer when shot in the head. I like the Texan, but it isn’t regulated. You air up when it happens to be warm and it cools off and your power/accuracy suffers. The accuracy of unregulated guns relies on an accurate fill pressure. I like the Zeus but idk if it is regulated. Whats up with the laugh? I killed a nice doe with my .25…fx….Can you do that?

You asked me " , but what's with the new 357 & 45 Rattler's that you would disparage them?' and i answered, don't take it personally and yes, I'm sure both the 308 and the 357 can put down a full-size deer at 100 -150 yards let alone a small doe. 3000 psi 280 fpe 150gr
