Colt Peacemaker Pellet Pistol Cleaning

Hey guys what’s the best way to clean the barrel on the Umarex Colt Peacemaker? The manual says cleaning rod down the muzzle but is there a better way? Felt pellets ?

I use a felt barrel brush attachment on a pull through[came in a kit]

Yes however it’s an old school single action design you can’t open the cylinder to access the breech.

Oooooh! Well if you use the felt pellets, I've heard use more than 1 at a time[per shot, get 2 in the chamber/barrel and fire]

Yeah kinda figured. I ordered some .177 felt cleaning pellets . Thank you

I recent got “The Duke” version in BB. I assume you’d do the same to clean the barrel? How often do you recommend cleaning?

Just when you get it it’s not necessary to clean Airguns like powder burners

I've shot airguns on and off for over 40 years and can't recall ever cleaning a single one. Oiling it, sure. But cleaning out the barrel? Nope.
