@douger I have the same compressor coming from AoA (on sale!). I'm guessing that it does not come with any of the Coltri options like hour meter, auto-shutoff, etc.?
Is it straight forward to add these to a Coltri? I'm guessing that the Daystate is similar to the Nuvair MCH3 or Coltri ICON.
What oil do you guys like to use in the compressor?

use the oil from aoa colti oil i change mine every 3 hours needed or not. hour meter i use is from amazon wireless. works great

How many hours were on your compressors when you received them? Mine had 7.6 hours on it When I unpacked it today. I called Mitch and asked why. He said they test every one but that seems excessive to me.

maybe it is 1.76 hr on the meter, about what mine had when new

I got mine unpacked and plug connected today. I've only just turned it on for about 15 seconds so far to make sure it runs and to see how loud it's going to be. Mine was surrounded by bubble wrap in the box and everything seems to be in order. Pleased with it so far.

7.6 SEEMS LIKE LOTTA HOURS FOR A TEST, I HAD MINE A YEAR BUT HAVNT USED IT MUCH AND ITS GOT 12 HOURS

That is what I thought too @douger but they assured me mine was new and only test run. He said it may have had leaks during testing and required additional run time to verify the repairs were successfully made. It works great and I have no complaints but I thought it odd that it has this many hours on a new unit.

Does anyone know what size tubing fits into the drain valve push to connect fitting? Does both of your drain valves have a push to connect fitting? My far outside drain valve is the only one with that fitting. The center drain valve only has a threaded hole and no fiting installed in it?

Got mine a couple days ago. Got it up and running today. Topped off my 72 cu.ft tank from 2400psi to 4500psi in about 5 minutes or less.

Been looking at this post for a good bit and was wondering if there is an appreciable difference between the older MCH6 and icons. I kinda was considering the Daystate LC110 since it was quiet but I don't really want something that's going to break in short order.

I went with the 220v unit as its going to be more efficient and not run as hard. Any Daystate rebranded Coltri issues I found on line were the 110v versions.
As to the older unit vs. the Icon, I think either one is going to last a long time.
