Combat Air Rifle Training?

Anyone else remember the air rifle (without any sights) training to shoot washers, with their centers taped over, out of the air? Great basic instinctive shooting drill. Fun!

It came in handy at 50 playing paintball with a bunch of 20 somethings. They kept asking "how can you do that"?I'm not telling as you would not believe me if I did.

On the civilian side, it was called "Quick Skill," and military called it "Quick Kill."
They used Daisy BB guns and was a complete kit. Somewhere out on the net, you can still download the documentation that came with it.

Did that as a kid in cub scouts.lol. The kids that could do it and myself could take a squirrel out of the air with a single shot 22. Those skills are not as prevalent in my 40s but it is still there.
