Combing classifieds

I know I don't speak for everyone when I say this.....
So hear/read me out🤞

Going through the classifieds is quite...how do I say this...it is like finding a needle in a haystack. Yes, I realize that some of us have no obstacles when it comes to money, time, etc.
Personally though; after scrolling through about 15 pages of classifieds or so... maybe less; oof I gave up 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️😅 aaaaafter I had clicked so many ads just to find a price and realize it's over budget😵‍💫🥴
....now that in order to list in classifieds, one must have a price listed.....not in the title but in the advert. I'm just wondering if we could maybe either have the option to sort these by listed pricing to save some time. Or have it just listed in the title...
*****I'm not actually "complaining"....just giving feedback🤟🎩
Just my thoughts spewing a bit 🤪🤙
Anybody else?

Toasty...what exactly are you looking for and at what price point?
maybe I could help you out.
or
Are you just window shopping?
I'm always window shopping/ researching😅
Honestly looking for a high shot count pcp rifle....I'm debating on 177 or 22....I have both ammo. But I'm like a max 200 dollar range right now. So seeing stuff that's msrp for 400 and thinking aww maybe it's almost 200? And then it's listed as 390🥴

Not that it's a bad idea, but not sure if it would work out really well if you consider ads where there are multiple items posted. It could lead to many more ads as it would require one item per ad, thus causing items to get pushed off the front page faster and creating more pages to plough through.

It sounds a little cliche, but have you tried using search in the Classifieds? Search is much better now than it used to be and may at least help narrow down the number of threads to go through.

Also - consider AGN is not the only place for used airguns. AoA and Baker Airguns both have solid Used pages. eBay and Gunbroker are good places to buy used airguns. Use your network of AGN friends to seek out deals - many transactions take place outside of the classifieds and just asking around can net a good buy.

From my personal experience searching for more specific items, rather than just browsing, frequency will net better results than a once a week deep dive. If you check all your used sources daily and look at the newer items posted you are more likely to find that deal you want. Good buys tend to sell more quickly and checking once a week you may think they aren't there, when in reality they've been posted and sold during your downtime.

Multiple would just be a range instead.of a.list price.
Like 300-760🤷‍♂️ ; .not complaining. Just trying to give the forum some ideas(feedback)🎩🤙

Sounds like a good idea and a time saver for sure.

What power level and how many shots are you looking to get?
Debating in 177 or 22 bc I have the ammo already and mu research is pushing me to 177 as having the most shot count...? 🤔 I saw where a guy said he was getting almost 100 shots in 177 on one fill? Idr if it was.modded or not. But since I hand pump; I want to be able to full one up and go plink/hunt for a good amount of time without having to refill. Oooooor snatch up a.small bottle to fill a slinger on the go?....😵‍💫😑🤷‍♂️

I get right at 100 shots in 177 with my crosman 2240 bottle gun that's rocking a 1720 barrel. Would get more if i filled to 4500 psi vs 3500 psi. Doing right at 790-800 fps with crosmans 7.9 grain

.... and I'm thinking about selling it lol
I'm just over 177 anymore.
Oh man! 🥺 ...how much would you sell that for? I think it'd fit great in my collection beside the drifter pump🤯😅...

I agree. Revamping the filter would be a good way to do this. Giving us a better elimination scheme (forum, topic, category<prefix>, brand, price, relisted <y/n>, etc.)
