Been around since at least the 80s. It must be pretty decent.
I have a Crosman 3100. (Oooh scary recalled) Rebranded Cometa 100. It is extremely smooth and accurate. Low powered but that's ok for what it is.

So I know you're looking for unbiased opinions but I just took yours out of the box and figured I'd chime in. This is actually the first 100 that I've played with. I took 10 shots at 10m just to function check the gun and make sure everything was A-OK. You are going to like it. Its pretty darn smooth for an out of the box sub $200 spring piston and it shoulders really nicely. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it after you play with it some. It'll be hitting UPS and on its way tomorrow for you. Thank you for your order!

Thank you very much for bringing Cometa to the US at reasonable prices. I was searching less than a month ago for a US dealer when lo and behold I saw the thread from another member announcing your site. You'll be getting an order for for a Fenix 400 in the near future. Due to a self imposed max # of airguns owned I've got a couple I need to let go of first.

I have a Crosman 3100 as well and had fun plinking with it. Its a nice little traditional style air rifle to shoot. Haven't busted it out in a while.

I wonder what the specs for the 400 are because they are not listed on the website? I might order one but the front sight is holding me back.

The guns come in two versions, gas ram and coil spring. Currently all of the guns I carry are the coil spring version. The next order will probably include the gas ram version as well. That is realistically a couple of months out though.
