I started next Air Rifle tote last night. It is going to a member in Illinois on Monday. This one will be designed to carry TWO airguns instead of one airgun and a set of shooting sticks.
Inlay step: (cut groove, glue in inlay, when dry I will plane to uniform thickness and sand before cutting end pieces.
Finished Prouduct will look like this one that went to Pennsylvania.
$125 + $15 Shipping. I ship quick and secure.
- 85% kiln dried Sassafras because it has interesting grain and more importantly, is much lighter weight than most hardwoods.
- Inlaid a strip of Peruvian walnut through the middle of all the pieces.
- 6MM thick leather protects the air rifle and shooting sticks.
- 1/2" polly rope (brown) looks nice and simplifies the attachment process.
- 1" thick wood
- Air rifle forend slot is 62mm for secure hold of 60MM diameter air bottle. Plenty secure for 30mm tubes as well.
- There are 14 3/8" oak dowels and wood glue securely holding everything together. No screws, no nails, or metal pins. All Wood!
