Compact scope recommendations

I'm in the Market for a nice pocket friendly Quality compact scope and I need you guys help. Knowing all the guys that have all the experience and knowledge of different equipment this is the first place for insight. 

I'm hoping to not go over $250 on the purchase 30mm tube preferred with IR, SF and most importantly CLEAR GLASS!! The rifle I'm looking to fit will be a Dream Tac Compact in .25 or the Uragan Compact .25

I'm Not looking for any UTG, Leapers or Centerpoint Scopes.

I hate to burst your bubble but the Uragan compact isn’t made in a 25 cal. I would have got it instead of the 22 compact, but it is an amazing gun. I’m pushing jsb hades at 860fps I believe it’s going to become my go to pellet and I really like the gun.

I just picked up another Discovery VT-T 6-24x50, FFP, very thin reticle, mil-mil, good clear glass, 30 mm tube but no illumination and it's not a compact scope. The only other piece of glass I have that can approach it is a Hawke Sidewinder 8-32x56 … now the glass is a little clearer on the Hawke, but the Hawke was about $550 and this Discovery was $275. That is the regular price, with the holidays here you might be able to fandangle Charlie Sexton into shooting you a little bit better deal. What about a vortex crossfire2 1-4x24? I just put one on my dreamtac compact and i love it for close range hunting.

Realistically - quality and $250 don't belong in the same sentence....

Even then we need to know what magnification range you want....

The best SFP cheap scope I've found is the Athlon Argos 4-16x40. I like it because it has good glass, has a mildot reticle that is true on 10x, .1 mil click, 5 mil turrets, that are finger adjust and capped. There is also a more compact 3-12 version but I have not tried it.

I know it's not what you are looking for but...

UTG 3-12X44 30mm Compact Scope, AO, 36-color Mil-dot, Rings

4 stars with over 1000 Amazon reviews, 30mm tube, side parallax, under 100 bux to your door. If it doesn't turn out to be the one you end up with long term it will certainly get you going until you find what you really want. In all likelihood what you are looking for is probably in the 1k range. FWIW I have personal experience with this scope on many AR platform rifles and for all the trash people talk I have seen many folks go to this scope AFTER having tried much more expensive lower powered scopes. It even comes with flip up caps and rings. Just sayin....

i was loocking for a compact scope ,to . and finaly bougth a discovery vt-3 4-16x44 to try . 30mm tube 10.6 inch long 19.4 oz (compact ) i dont have it yet .

Hawke Airmax Compact 3-12? I have never used one, but believe the Hawke brand represents a step up from UTG. Has all the features at a reasonable price and just under 11" long.
