N/A Compacts Only

How about a thread only for compact guns? Factory or custom builds are welcome, but let's make it under a certain length?

How about 36" OAL and under. This includes any moderators or muzzle devices, not butt to barrel tip.

List your power level, modifications, ammo preference and shooting distances.

Here's my latest creation. I call it the Kral 25 Mini Tac.

32.5" with tanto and at the current length of pull on the adjustable stock.

Shooting JTS 25.4s into a half inch at 40 yards doing 700 fps. 20 shots on board per fill.

Rocking a MFT blade hook buttstock, folding dazzle stock, 110cc tube and 11" barrel. Optic is a simple 4-12x40 AO BSA Sweet 22 scope. I have a tactacam FTS setup for it as well.

Best looking compact rig I have ever laid eyes on! 🤗

Every gun I own fits your description. You should probably do true builds. Way more interesting.
Problem there is, not many on here have the tools or wherewithal to make custom one off builds. I wish I had a lathe and access to a CNC. I would make tons of stuff.

36" ??????????
That's full rifle length. My "compacts" I try to keep under 30" outta the box, then add as small a muffler as can be used to do a decent job of not bothering my cats too much.

A compact, about 25-1/4" complete -

Just barely a compact, about 30" complete -

A compact, about 26+" complete . No external muffler required. The original shroud is full of Daystate baffles. It's quiet.

Yeah, I have a couple over 30", AAA Evol Mini, and a couple others.

What is that last one Mike?

All my PCPs are "compacts"

Taipan Vet Short .22 24" OAL 8lbs 3oz with DNT Zulus 3-12 couple different tunes main at 865fps with JTS 18gr out to 100yds and 570fps with JTS 18gr within 25yds.

Taipan Vet Long .22 31.75" OAL 10lbs 13oz with Athlon Helos BTR Gen2 4-20x50 920fps with JTS 18gr. Most accurate gun I've owned. 100yds is easy.

AAA Evol Mini .22 31.75" OAL 7lbs 3oz with Discovery 2-12x24 HD 800fps with CPHPs out to 80yds no problem.

I really like the Notos.

I don'r care about PCPs which are 5-10 times more expensive than the Notos.

And occasionally, if a particular gun doesn't fall under my self imposed, 30" max length, I..."fix" it !

Like my two Daystate Pulsars, (started out a little over 30"). About 27+" Just shorten the shroud a bit -

And another, same length -

And then there's my Daystate Renegade, same length -

Not as fancy or techno advanced, but I like it. I have not shot it past 10 m at this point. Running about 24-25 fpe with 14 ish pellets.
I just need to find the right pellet. Shoots al, about the same at 10m. Usually complete mismatches of barrel and pellet will show at 10m.

Making it a pup helps the balance a lot. 33.5” to the center of the hook.

My newly acquired k1 in 22. Total length with the mod is 35 and 1/4. My most favorite gun I own. Wish I would've bought this one first and I would've saved a lot of money because it does everything I want to do for a hunting gun very accurate easy to put a sling on and not awful heavy and long.
It's currently at a mild tune of 904 with the FX 18 grains and I probably get on a 300 bar fill at least 4 mags.

My mk2 500mm in 25 with some add ons and larger bottle. Loves the mk2 34s at 894. I get 2 mags plus on 250bar fill. It's 33in.

My Ron Robinson custom .22 Brocock Sniper XR carbine/pistol convertible; 32" O.A. (in carbine form). On power-level 4 Black Bart produces 865 FPS for 30.1 foot pounds with 18.1 grain JSBs. On power level 2 Black Betty does 700 FPS and 19.8 foot pounds; perfect for Extreme Pistol Field Target competition. In either form Black Bart/Betty averages 3/4" groups at 50 yards regular as clockwork.

GK Carbine.jpg

My other mostest favoritest mini carbine measures only 25" overall, ready to rock and roll! Another Ron Robinson homegrown creation, I've tuned Mini Mag for 18.1 JSBs at 930 FPS/35 foot pounds, or 22.07 grain JTS pellets at 880 FPS/35 FP. The modified Steve Corcoran carbine stock attaches/detaches in less than a minute with one screw.

Displaying more RR homegrown custom wood-work, my .22 Artemis PP750 is 27" overall, and averages 1" groups at 50 yards with 15.9 grain JSBs at 630 FPS/14 FP.

Squeaking in just under this threads 36" parameter (at 35.999901"), my Brocock Bantam Hi-Lite 'semi-bullpup' is an absolute gem that required very little Ron Robinson monkeying🐒to average HALF-INCH fifty-yard groups with 18.1 JSBs at 887 FPS/31.7 FP.

BTW, FYI and FWIW, I have it on good authority that Ron Robinson is also a high-technology genius, as demonstrated in the video below of he and an assistant at work-
