Beeman Comparison Crosman 2300S & Beeman P3

I've owned the P3 for twenty years and the 2300S two years both are completely stock. I shot in my garage at 7 yards, off hand, iron sights at a 1" target. I've shot the P3 more times than the 2300s but I thought it would be interesting which one "I" shoot better. The results were very close but the one that came out the winner all the time was the P3 . The trigger on the P3 is way superior, I'm sure if the 2300S had the two stage trigger on it the results could have been different . The sights on the 2300S was easier for me to pick up the 1" target. In conclusion if your looking for a CO2 or pneumatic I wouldn't hesitate recommending either one of these fine air pistols.

you can add a lighter sear spring on the 2300s and that will help but to add the 1701p trigger assemble and hammer would be the best

I've been through the lighter sear spring route, it helps but still nothing like the P3 trigger.

I can’t compare those two because I never tried the 2300S, but the P3’s trigger has spoiled me. If I am verrrry careful, I can take advantage of bringing it to a stop at the first stage before deciding to make that final press to fire the shot. Works better if I have the gun on a front rest, as is normal for my indoor shooting (19’ from muzzle to target, the most I can get indoors). With more offhand practice outdoors (usually at 33’), I hope to establish that as my default mode. It’s going to take a lot more focused practice!

Jetpopt: I agree on the P3 tigger being a spoiler I have four airguns and three powder burners one of the powder burners with a custom trigger, and the P3 is the best out of all them! I bought the P3 from AOA 20 years ago so it has the older front sights on, meaning they are not FO.
