Compressor: Air Venturi vs Carette vs Omega

Anyone have an opinion on which of the 3 is the best? Reasons?

I have an FX Impact on order and currently use a handpump for filling. I have convinced myself that once I have the Impact in my hands I am going to order a compressor and a smaller ( 18cf ) tank.

just got my AV comp yesterday ....dont have a lot or info ....but it really fills fast,,, like the built in handles,,, i like the price,,,its simple and compact like the 2 others cheaper than omega ,,,i dont like how you have to buy the extra filter for Charrette when they first came out it was included in the price,,,yeah faster than charrette cheaper than omega ,,,good luck pat

I can't compare but have about 4-5 hours on my AV compressor so far. The machine works great so far. No issues yet and fills fast. If it continues like this I will be a happy man.

I've seen the carette in person and in use and boy what a machine. I guess it all depends on your pocket book as to which you want to buy. I'll be purchasing the AV booster as I have a compressor sitting at home that goes unused and is perfect for it.

I have the Carette, I think design wise it can be the best compressor for the money. I'm not saying the Omega and Venturi are bad choices but that the Carette is a better design for a home use situation. Time will tell if I'm correct. Mine has 100 hours on it and I haven't had any issues. I maintain is as recomended and just followed the tips that were posted in online reviews .

I have the AV and I'm happy with it....does what it's supposed to do and that's all I ask, beats the hand pump....

I also have a Carrette....20 hours, not one single hiccup..... and I'm filling 88 cu ft SCBA's
