N/A Compressor GX PUMP E-CS4- should i see 230v in the inverter window or 115v?

Hi guys

i think you probably hate me by now because of all my dumb questions but i don't want to break anything so i rather ask..

i don't want to burn the inverter- i already did by plugging 12v inverter to my 24v outlet in my truck so before i start today i will make sure..

i know you are in the states with 110-115v and i am in Germany with 220-230v but if you have the same compressor i have with the external power inverter then you too need to switch this volt selector..

so please tell me or make photo whether you see the number 115v when you set the selector or you turn away from the 115v and see 230v?

i am pretty sure you slide it to see 115v and not away from it (to 230v) but i rather ask before i make a boom here..

now i will select 230v and see that in the window and be good..

i just don't trust the Chinese and the way they translate to English.. sometimes they mean the total opposite of what they are saying in English.

110 or 220 in the USA is every household . It just the working from the breakers to the plug / appliance usage needed .

If you plugged in to 110 choose that if your plugged in to 220 use that . Mind you different plugs used for 110 or 220

My TV and lights use 110 my heat and air unit used 220 ..


If your not sure ask a real electrician not a forum flunky ( like me ..lol)

220 in US is split-phase / 4 wires (2 phases, 1 ground, 1 neutral). In EU it is one phase / 3 wires (phase, ground, neutral), sometimes just 2 (no ground...). In US you can combine two regular 110 V phases and make it 220.
