Compressor to fill 9L bottle.

I think the GX CS4i or CS4 (external converter) would work especially filling in increments. Amazon has both on sale with discounts available.

I second the CS4! It's essentially the same compressor as the CS4i, it just has an external power supply, which keeps some heat out of the compressor! At GX Pumps, it's $130 less than the CS41, with the same capabilities.

GX Pumps aso offers a discount code [GX10OFF] good for an additional 10% off, bringing the price to $486.00 shipped.

Are these compressors internally water cooled or do they require a bucket like the Yong Heng?

They are all self contained. The water tank is built into the unit. The only difference between the CS4 and CS4i is the power supply. On the CS4i, it internal, which in my opinion introduces additional heat inside the case and makes it a bit heavier to carry to the field. Other than that, they are identical.

Thanks for the info! The site says it will fill a 6L tank. I have a 9L. Just to be clear, you are saying it would have no problem filling the 9L tank as long as it's done in increments. I would not be feeling it from empty. I would only feel it from 3,000 to 4,500 psi.

I believe if doing it in shorter intervals, yes, it should be fine. Heat is the main factor for causing compressor issues. I would do 5-10 minute fills then stop, let it cool then repeat.

Would that be feeling from empty, or feeling from say 3,000 psi?
Depending on how much air is already in the tank. Since it is a larger tank than what they recommend, check how warm it is running. I would still do it in increments but if low air in the tank a little longer in the beginning, then in shorter intervals.
