Beautiful day with a tricky 2 mil wind that appeared and went, will nilly. The sun was just perfect for good scoping. We played it a little lose on the rules- everyone took 3 shots at each target except for the off hand lane- that lane had three targets, with two shots required for each.
Taking more shots didn't seem to slow the match down, since each lane didn't move until they shot their six shots. 66 total shots worked the springer guys, and the PCP guys just had fun shooting.
WFTF continues to bring a high percentage of shots into the kill zone. Dana and Son, dropped only 5 and 6 shots respectively over the course.
You would think that you could repeat the same dope solution (Data Of Previous Engagement) for each shot, but the wind was too tricky to let us coast. Many score cards would have one or two kills at a target- to get all six kills for the lane required knowledge, skill and just a little bit of luck.

Conrad breaking in the new (to him) rifle
Going to do this again in December, so mark off your calendar, 3rd Sunday, 8:30 set up and 9:00 am shoot!
