Other Confused old newbie here.

So, I'm 63 and not real social as in I don't do a lot of commenting or posting I just read the forum posts and classifieds. I have only been a member of the site for a few weeks now and as I said, I haven't really posted anything. I found a bottle for an FX airgun which I have been looking for since I have a Panthera Hunter and wanted to ask a few questions and possibly purchase it. However I get a notification that I must have a minimum of 10 posts and a minimum of 10 days of activity. I'm not really sure what that means? 10 posts of things for sale? 10 posts of just discussion? I have no idea what "posts" I need to be working towards not that the bottle I found won't likely be sold by then anyway. And 10 days of activity? Does that mean just browsing? Being a member of? I again am not quite sure what it is I need to do. Like I said I'm 63 and not real active on the internet so I'm kind of dumb when it comes to all this stuff. So any guidance as to what it is I need to do would be appreciated. I also have a friend who is worse than me, he doesn't have the internet but saw some things on here when I was looking at the classifieds and he had interest but I told him I would need to figure out what it is I need to do before I can help him out. So, Thank you for any help! Larry

Welcome, Larry, from another "lurker". Just post a few sentences. It'll come as others are already reaching out to you. I have found that by the time we get into our sixty's most folks have a few a years to settle down and are happy mostly to just have a conversation. Good folks on here.!!
Thank's for the reply! and yes, you are correct!

Hi Stan, I have a few now but I guess my favorite is my FX Panthera Hunter in .22. I have it fitted with a Donny FL Sumo and Hawke Airmax 30SF but I would like to add another bottle to add more capacity. I did just pick up another, an FX Dreamline .25 cal with a GRS stock and an additional plenum that I added a nice Athlon 6-24x50 I may try some long range shooting with that. Thank you for the reply!
OH ! sounds great , good Air Guns . i have a few , i like to travel to air gun shows , buy and sell walking around , no table and not a dealer .

I count 8 posts , two more posts to go , I am not sure if it is 10 days membership or 10 days active on the forum . I probably have you beat in not being savvy with the computers . 79+ here . My computer is more of a "toy" just chatting , use like a catalog and weather , E mail . No banking , only air gun shopping . and Amazon for things i can't find locally . That's it .
I could spend all day here looking at the classifieds lol. I think I actually may have! Lot's of neat stuff out there, more than my wallet can handle. Thank you for the reply!

I am in Cassville Wisconsin, kind of in the sticks I guess. We overlook the Mississippi which is cool but there's not much going on around here. I don't know if there are even any airgun shows in the area at all. I've gone to the regular gun shows but not many air guns there and last one I swear was a bit overpriced. I would drive for a show if I knew of one within a couple hours. We are quite close to both Iowa and Illinois.

Beer… whats in NY ?

and curious as to the southwest having a lot of the top airgun stuff. Stores , ranges , competitions , wide open land.
I mean the real gun shooting opportunities must be much greater than here in upstate NY.
I had never heard of a pcp gun. Never seen in magazines ( thing of the past to the young).
So Thats part of my curiosity. I can understand maybe the UK or other restrictive societies that barely allow any guns.

Same compressor I have, it has treated me good and fills my needs!
I like it so far. It fills my small Ninja tank and all my guns and it's fairly quiet. I have another cheaper compressor that will only fill to 350 bar that I will use if I go to the range. I can hook it to my battery and run it off that.
