N/A Contemplating a Big Bore Bush Gun

Sometimes situations arise that require specific or specialty tools. I’m interested in suggestions for a bush gun- something compact that I can shoulder and shoot at short range in tight spaces like thickets, heavy undergrowth, a pine sappling stand, etc. Might sound strange, but it’s what I want. If I can find something less than 30 inches that would be great! So far I’ve considered:

Evanix Rex-P in .45 (super compact)
AEA Element in .45

Just something I’ve been thinking about on and off. What else can y’all suggest?
 
What size game? Pigs and deer or armadillos and raccoons? That new Rattker 45 is pretty versatile platform for building off from, wirb barrel length and slug weights and power. (As is the 357) You'd have to get in touch with Western or commission someone to make the appropriate twist rate barrel consistent with the slug weight and length.

the new hammer carbine, gotta couple friends that have them and there much better than the original hammer.
both guy's have already taken 2 deer each with there's.
i will probably get one this summer and work with it til next season.
so far my Piledriver has been good for me and the freezer...... :sneaky:

FWIW, the Rex P has swappable extended barrels in 500 and 730 mm. The 500 mm barrel is still quite compact.

If it needs to be a repeaeter and since you're asking for ideas, I recently bought a ferfurb .45 Hercules Bully off of the Hatsan site. Not nearly as exciting as the latest and greatest out there but it's an accurate, hard hitting chode which only set me back 5 dead Benjamins. It's actually one of the more fun guns that I've shot and not a wall-hanger, so I won't feel bad over any wear and tear incurred during use.

@gendoc I’ll have to look into the length and weight of the hammer carbine. I don’t have a lot of confidence in the brand.
