Is the Daystate T1, $600 or $700 dollars better than the Air Venturi? Longevity wise??

I have the Carette which is a solid belt driven compressor from the 2 your looking at the Daystate is a much better engineered system it’s also belt driven an would be my choice. I’ve also have never heard any strong complaints on the Air Venturi

Absolutely. The Daystate/Coltri compressor a true dive compressor design. The Air Venturi is direct motor drive with an over-revved motor pushed to achieve faster fill speed. The Daystate is sturdier, quieter, and will retain much higher resale value over time so it's a no brainer. I have a Carette which I like but it isn't as sturdy as a true dive compressor like the Daystate/Coltri. The fact that the Daystate is air cooled and runs on any 110V 15 amp circuit is also a big plus.

Awesome... thanks for your input guys! The extra bucks for the Daystate sounds like $$$ well spent.
