Well, I got to test a few shots through the new mod and it sounds really good. I shortened my Huma down to the same length as the old and new versions of your mod, only two chambers. I need to put the felt insert back in the first section of my Huma mod to make it a more even test of internal volume. The Huma has a slightly deeper tone than your old and new mods. They have the same level of deadening the sound just different tones. I wonder if your mod had more volume for that first blast of air to escape into, if it would have a deeper tone. I took out the felt in the first chamber of my Huma for the air to fill before going on to the next. They all sound really well. The helicoil worked great and should be your new thread insert. Lot more threads engaged than the thread insert. I would take a few shots and then change out the mod to the next and keep shooting at the same spot. There were no POI changes from any of the mods. Great job there. I used them on my lower power FX Dreamtac Compact and higher power Daystate Revere. Just did some shooting in the basement so the sound is more defined than open outside space. Was going to record it but my air conditioner kept kicking on. Hard to do a video outside with car noise constant in my area. May download a db tester on the phone and see how it does. Have to get out to the inlaws to try it in the country where the only sounds are the birds and wind through the trees. Well done sir on the 3D printing. These are quality builds.
