I saw the picture of his U2 in the backpack and thought how sweetly the Atomic or Pathfinder XRs would fit. So I ordered one, I’m digging it big time, what do you gents think? Love that I can simply hike down the road to my nearest permissions, discreetly.

This case has been simply awesome to me. Holds everything I need for a range or pesting outing. Now the one that really has my attention is this one, reminiscent of something you would carry a “Chicago Typewriter” in…🙀🤓🙈🇺🇸

This is my clandestine pesting rig. (Old photo but all I had on my phone)

The case measures 13x26inches. I used it last night actually. Was waiting on my son's soccer practice to end. I've got a little "permission" right along a state highway. And a state highway with a speed limit of 35mph b/c it's also the main drag through our little community. So I parked, and walked alongside the highway, but about 60 yards out in the field, parallel to the road. Of course carrying my little briefcase. I nestled into some brush that makes a natural blind, and is out of sight of the road. Opens that case and had some fun on prairie dogs.

There's a gas station on the other side of the road, no further than 100 yards from where I was shooting. (Shooting away from the road and gas station etc, nothing but empty field downrange).

I think the shape aids a lot in remaining discrete.

A long time ago (30+ years). I used a tennis racket case to covertly transport my Ruger 10/22 with a folding stock. Worked like a charm, particularly since I lived near two parks with tennis courts.🤓

"Gig Bag's" from the pawn shop often work very well. Have a friend in Nashville that uses them and no one even blinks when you pull into any parking lot, transfer a half dozen cases and leave together.That little rig would likely fit in a (harder to find than bass or guitar) soft Violin bag.

I submit a Chicago old school bag concept that worked very well for my Mossberg 590A riot gun back in the day, if it's covert carry you want.
NOTE; for a quick pawn people steal musical instruments like guitars and violins from vehicles etc. only the stupid steal a couple of BATs.
A simple used yard sale (NOT NEW) 36" baseball BAT bag then add foam padding for your surprise batter up bag. :cool:

Of course you can use your favorite local team or since this bag is PINK I am a coach for the local girls team.

Leshiy2 with 350 barrel and Behemoth moderator fits just about perfectly in the little Tasmanian Tiger Sling pack. Despite being in Coyote brown (handy when actually stalking) it doesn’t look overly tactical - like something a college kid would carry. Admittedly the morale patches would be pulled off if I was expecting to walk into a nunnery. Paperback novel for scale.
