Coyote#7 - Impact with H&N slug

@Max115 Lights out!! Good prep work and excellent shot. Your range is great. To be so close, yet undetected is ideal. At least that’s my opinion. I figured those were different yotes in the bonus footage. I’d noticed the bobbed tip of the tail on the yote and the other didn’t seem to have it. It was more noticeable after you cued viewers to watch closely. Looks like you still have work to do there. Great content Alex. Thanks for sharing.

Here is the coyote that I finally tagged last Sunday.

For those that just want to see the kill shot, please skip to 17.:28; Otherwise, sit back and watch how I setup, and the process of dropping this coyote up close and personal.

Bonus clips at the end.

Enjoy.

Maxx , Great work ! Excellent video & the eagle snatch was cool ! I have finally ventured out yesterday & tagged some starlings & two G-hogs. My shoulder actually loosened up a bit driving & handling the Katran . I got out early this morning for birds & spotted two more 'hogs in a nearby field . I checked out a shooting location & ranged it for another day ( unlawful to shoot chucks on Sunday in PA :( ). The farmer told me his soybeans took a real beating while I was laid up from my shoulder replacement , so I've got a lot of catching up to do ! I'll bet the eagles here wandered where the free meals went also ! Yes go for the "short tail " next. Good hunting.

@iAMzehTOASTY1, mequi, beerthief. Thanks for watching.

@Ezana4CE. I got lucky. Yeah it was too close for my comfort because I was worried that it might see me or smell me. But luckily its mind was on the rats. It got a slug thru the skull after taking a piss over the rats. They were the same coyotes captured in the trail cam. They had winter coat on, thats why they looked different. There was a very distinct marking, dark patch, on the tail of the one I shot. I have set up the trail cam again and I will continue to leave bait and monitor to see if this damaged tail one comes back or not.

@Contndr35BB. Glad to hear your shoulder is getting better. Good job with the hogs shooting. I would love to have a chance of shooting hogs someday, but none in my area.

Anyway, happy 4th of July my fellow neighbours!
