CPHP heads up

FYI, the guys over on GTA noticed the .22 product listing still shows Made in USA in the description but the photos now show Made in Brazil on the back of the packaging. From a smattering of comments, it sounds like the new production represents yet another decline in quality.

No consensus yet on what is actually being shipped at the moment.

The essentials ones are outsource the new "air power" packaged cphp have made in usa in small print in the bottom back corner of blister pak.
Definitely not the same old big bold usa tins of old....lol.

I just got to wonder if the pellets are usa or just the cardboard packaging there put in..lol

Here we go... yet ANOTHER American company outsourcing even more products. That proves such a good idea during the plandemic.

Now that Brazil has suffered a communist coup and protesters have been put in concentration camps, beaten and force-mRNA jabbed, buying products made there seems somewhat less appealing. At the same time, maybe I should support Brazilian industry, as they surely will be feeling the pain.

Ya, why not cause no american is feeling any, right? Screw them ... Wow.

I think you badly misread the intention of my post. I don't want to elaborate and break political banned speech rules.

Ya, state facts and truth and get cancled..

I was going to add above if made in america also covers south America?. Its america right?...lol.

Them crosman essential pellets were a flop anyway. Like the .22 were 250 count for $10 when cphp 500 count were $7.. then i guess nobody realy bought them essentials as long as they were around not many if any user reviews even at more popular shops..

Now i notic d there ( essential) pellets are selling at closeout pricing. Like 4.50 a tin..

I just think they were a stop gap covid item to help maintain stock supply.. who knows

Okay. You know there are members from other countries here too, right? Probably some Brazilians too. I'm the last person who's gonna "cancel" you. I am just suggesting you read my post again a little more carefully and without jumping to automatic conclusions.

With all the lead bans and negative health issues associated with lead, don't be surprised if all american mfgrs stop making lead pellets and outsources them to countries where health concerns take a back seat to profits. That day is comming soon...unfortunately !!

What American pellet manufacturers are there currently? I know all the slugs I buy are Made in USA.

Oh come on now... America has the absolute highest Healthcare cost anywhere it's all about profits. Doctors have to pay for their 3 M's... the mansion, the mistress, and the mercedes!

Yall got some pictures of packaged 500 pellet tins with the made in Brazil writing?

Current shelf product has the same Made In info as the pellets I bought 5 years ago. Here are 3 tins of CPHP's, from Left to Right:

2018 manufactured, white back, red, white and blue bullseye front with Made In The USA on the cover and on the card back.

2022 manufactured, white, blue and gold back, red, white and blue bullseye front with Made In The USA on the cover and on the card back.

2023 manufactured, white back, red, blue, gold, white, red bullseye front with Made In The USA on the card back only.

The target has the same pellets as you with the addition of the far right hand target which is the control group to foul the barrel.

My conclusion thus far with all this packaging change: the paint and printing has changed over the years to appeal to the masses, the pellets head sizes in all three tins (random selection from a pile poured out on a towel) all measure .219" +- .002. For a cheap, if not the cheapest pellet made in .22, these have great diameter control.

The targets clearly show 30 pellets from 3 tins removed from each other by years and tooling changes but remain as good or better with accuracy and precision then they had. I see no reason to change.

You watch to many movies and TV shows. Trust me, the healthcare costs have little to do with the paycheck, 90% is compliance with legislated rules/code/law.

True, but when they make high 6-7 figures a year and there are tons of them that do, it really makes you realize how much money is involved. If 90% is compliance and legislation that is.

Granted a pediatrician isn't going to make that, but a heart surgeon or oncologist, they make alot of money. I guess I'd rather have one that's making cake vs the docs in less fortunate countries who might use a dull spoon on your quadruple bypass!

Pediatricians can make most of a 6 figure income just with the insurance company bonuses given for "fully vaccinating" a certain quota of children. This is an Affordable Care Act policy called "Quality of Life Bonus", paid through insurance.

Lol! Lots of speculation and conjecture going on here. Low 6 figures is the norm for peds specialist and since it's considered high risk, expect to pay 20-25% of income to malpractice insurance and 30-37% into taxes.

School administrators in comparison have greater take home pay.

Back to the OP:

Since I'm getting head size of .219 (correction from above, I added an extra 0) what is the nominal barrel ID you have in your .22 rifles?
