Kalibrgun Cricket 2 Hammer Spring Adjustment

Need your help, AGN family. I recently received a Cricket 2 Smooth .22 and so far I'm loving it. Out the box it's shooting the JSB 18.1s at 964. I haven't really been able to test the accuracy due to my space limitations at home but I'm thinking that these may be flying too fast. When I've tried adjusting the hammer spring in or out, the velocity is not changing at all. Any advice?

IIRC the Cricket 2 came tuned in the 45 fpe range. How much have you loosened the hammer spring? It sounds like the gun may be tuned past the knee of the regulator curve and you should try to loosen the hammer spring until you see the speed start to drop.

If you cannot tune down the speed with the current spring that is installed, then lowering the regulator at this stage is of no use. You be way overpowered on the hammer spring if you lower the reg.

Report back if you can get the speed to drop with the hammer spring adjustment - even if it is near unscrewed at that point. It'll give a point of reference to check further.
